I’ve been having issues with my 856 for more than a year now, made a post about it as well. (In short: motion smoothing has been broken by a software update and is creating artifacts in dark scenes.) No help from Philips support, been talking to them for over 7 months, they just say ‘out of warranty’ and refuse to send an older firmware version.
My question: I’m looking at your firmware archive for the 2011 models (amongst which the 856), and I want to try and downgrade to version TPM211EA-101.001.004.131 or TPM211EA-101.001.004.113, to see if the problem is not present in one of those versions. But those are greyed out in the firmware archive.
How can I download them from your archive? Maybe I’m missing something…
And do you know if it is possible to downgrade ‘that far’ back from the present firmware version?
