Don’t recall exactly, but it was not disputed, opened a ticket with UK support 4+ years or so; they mentioned some licensing issues, from trial/error that was the last good, anything after had issues:

we’ve since added WebOS and hoping it would be easier to “unlock” and add older codecs.. (for older AVI files) which we cannot reencode all of them..

the complexity to downgrade is not worth trying anything new as if the downgrade wont work we will be stuck, not good position to be in, so much for easy of use :)
