Hallo zusammen,
bisher hatte ich auf meinem 55OLED804/12 und meinem 43PUS8505/12 die Firmware TPM191E_R.201.000.248.230. Ich habe an beiden TVs jeweils ein Apple TV 4K. Fast zeitgleich mit dem Update der beiden Philips TV auf die Firmware TPM191E_R.211.000.088.000 habe ich die beiden Apple TV 4K auf die aktuelle TVOS 18.4.1 upgedated. Ich habe seitdem folgendes Problem auf beiden Geräten:
Schalte ich den Fernseher ein, so erkennt man am Bild, dass Dolby Vision in den Bildeinstellungen aktiv ist (zu helles Bild, Farben anders als gewohnt). Gehe ich dann in die Einstellungen des Apple TV, dann ist dort Dolby Vision zwar aktiviert, aber wie beschrieben stimmt diese Einstellungen nicht mit den tatsächlichen überein. Ich beseitige das Problem, in dem ich zum Beispiel HDR+ einstelle und dann zurück zu Dolby Vision gehe/aktiviere. Dann kommt typische Bild und auch die vorherige Abfrage, ob Dolby Vision geprüft werden soll.
Der Fehler ist reproduzierbar und auf beiden TVs mit den beiden Apple TV 4Ks der ersten und letzten Generation.
Wenn ich den TV vom Netz trenne, kann ich diesen Bug IMMER reproduzieren.
Wie ich festgestellt habe, kann ich die Einstellungen auch dadurch auf das richtige Dolby Vision Setting korrigieren, wenn ich im Betrieb am Apple TV das HDMI-Kabel kurz ausstecke und wieder einstecke, so dass die Kommunikation beider Geräte auf die HDMI-Settings erneut erfolgt.
Ich kann nun nicht feststellen, ob das TV oder die Apple Firmware das Problem ist. Bei Apple kann ich nicht downgraden, beim Philips mit den hier angebotenen Firmware-Ständen schon. Nun lese ich hier im Tutorial, dass nur innerhalb eines Branches ohne Probleme ein Downgrade erfolgen sollte, wäre ja nach meinem Verständnis von ...211... auf eine andere ...211...-Version. Auf der anderen Seite lese ich bei euch, dass ihr tiefer als 211 oder 201 geht.
Könnt ihr mir hier bitte einmal aushelfen, ob ich zurück kann?
Noch eine Frage: woher kommen eigentlich die Firmware-Versionen, wenn Philips das letzte Mal für den 804er OLED um 2022 die Firmware auf deren Server gelegt hat? Kann ich auf diese auch testweise einmal zurück auf die letzte Philips-Firmware, oder zerschiesse ich mir den Bootloader etc.?
Sorry, wenn's lang wurde, kurze Antworten sollen erlaubt sein. Ich bin zwar seit vielen Jahrzehnten Embedded Entwickler und Dipl.Ing. Nachrichtentechnik, aber mehr als die Firmware per USB/Internet-Update habe ich bei den Philips-TVs nie gemacht.
Die HDMI-Kabel schliesse ich übrigens aus, die sind hochwertig und absolut OK.
