Die Reparatur hat bei mir mittlerweile stattgefunden. Das Mainboard, sowie das Ambilight inklusive Verkabelung wurden getauscht. Der ganze Prozess funktionierte unkompliziert zu Hause und dauerte ca. 2,5 Stunden.
Ebenso konnte der Techniker mir bereits eine (noch) nicht öffentlich Firmware (TPM231WW_R.101.001.227.211 ) installieren.
Die schlechte Nachricht zuerst. Das Ambilight Flackern/Blitzen ist NICHT behoben.
Sehr positiv ist jedoch die neue Firmware, welche in meinen Augen bisher die meisten spürbaren Veränderungen aller Updates mit sich bringt. Es gibt 2 neue Apps - eine Philips Fitness App und eine App zum Einrichten von Set-top Boxen. Einige Menüpunkte im Bereich Energiesparen wurden hinzugefügt. Die Akkustandsanzeige der Fernbedienung ist neu, zeigt aber immer noch dauerhaft 100 % an und in den Spielmodi wurden sinnlose Bildverarbeitungspunkte (Scharfe Bilder) ausgegraut. Die komplette GoogleTV Oberfläche fühlt sich signifikant schneller und flüssiger an.
Wirklich bemerkenswert ist jedoch, dass die fehlerhafte Zwischenbildberechnung bei Zuspielung über HDMI-Eingänge komplett korrigiert wurde. Es gibt kein induziertes Ruckeln bei 24 Hz -Material mehr, egal bei welchem Preset oder Glätte-Wert. Die Einstellung Pures Kino entfernt nunmehr komplett das OLED-Ruckeln, ohne SOE und soweit ich sehen konnte auch zu 100% artefaktfrei. Auch die Einstellung Film funktioniert nunmehr wirklich mit jedem Quellmaterial einwandfrei.
Geblieben sind Probleme bei der Signalerkennung bei aktiviertem ALLM-Modus der PS5.
Neu hinzugekommen ist ein Bug, der den Ambilight-Modus "Gaming" beibehält, auch wenn der Fernseher nicht mehr im Spielmodus ist. Man muss also beim Wechsel der Eingangsquelle das Ambilight wieder händisch umschalten.
Ich hoffe das gibt allen Interessierten einen Einblick, was demnächst zu erwarten ist und ob eine Reparatur im Zweifel individuell sinnvoll ist.
