Hallo in die Runde nochmal,
die Anleitung für ein Update von Android 9 auf Android 11 ist leider selbst für mich als "Techi" nicht intuitiv.
Im Thread "Philips: Upgrade/Downgrade mit Upgrade Loader PKG" steht immer was von "upgrade_loader.pkg" und "Fernseher stromlos, dann USB-Stick rein und dann wieder anschalten", aber das ist leider falsch, wenn man schon die neueste Android-9-Version "TPM191E_101.002.178.000" drauf hat und per USB-Stick auf Android 11 aktualisieren will... :-/
Wie oben geschrieben: es gibt keinen Link zu einem "upgrade_loader.pkg" für Android 11 für die TPM191E-Serie (z.B. 55OLED804/12), sondern nur unter "Philips: Download Latest TV Firmware / TV Software – Download der neuesten TV Firmware / Software Versionen" einen Link zu einem ZIP-Archiv bei Philips mit einer "autorun.upg"-Datei.
Irgendwo im Thread "Philips TV: Erste 2019/2020 TVs erhalten Android TV 11 (TPM191E)" auf Seite 34 von 36 in Antwort 496 von 530 schrieb dann "Toengel@Alex" nur lapidar "den Stick ranstecken, während der TV läuft...".
Das war der Game-Changer für mich, weil man offenbar nur auf diese Art und Weise ein Update mit einer "autorun.upg"-Datei machen kann.
Sobald der Stick erkannt wird, lädt der Fernseher die Datei und startet dann das Update.
Danach habe ich dann erst das übliche Prozedere mit "stromlos, dann Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen und neu Einrichten" durchgeführt und voilà: jetzt läuft mein 55OLED804/12 mit Android 11. :-)
Das hier hilft vielleicht anderen, die - wie ich - noch nicht so mit den unterschiedlichen Update-Prozeduren vertraut sind... ;-)
Bitte versteht mich nicht falsch: ich bin super-dankbar für diese Seite hier und habe großen Respekt für die Energie und die Zeit, die von allen hier investiert wird, um anderen zu helfen.
Manchmal ist es nur einfach etwas viel Information bzw. ist dadurch das _relevante Stück Info_ nur schwer zu finden... ;-)
