So, jetzt habe ich es auch gewagt. Die Installation hat eine Weile gedauert, aber war am Ende erfolgreich, nach Werksreset habe ich alles wieder eingerichtet.
Was allerdings krass ist und mir eine ganze Weile Kopfzerbrechen bereitet hat: HbbTV hat nicht mehr funktioniert, obwohl alle Einstellungen gepasst haben.
Am Ende und nach einiger Analyse hat sich herausgestellt, dass anscheinend Jemand auf die glorreiche Idee kam, den DNS-Server hart einzuprogrammieren und für HbbTV die Einstellungen, die per DHCP übergeben wurden, nicht berücksichtigt werden.
Bei mir im Netzwerk ist jedoch ein eigener DNS-Server aktiv, deshalb werden alle Anfragen an andere DNS-Server blockiert - und damit geht leider HbbTV gar nicht mehr.
Lösung sieht jetzt so aus, dass ich für den Fernseher den 8.8.8.8 (das ist der Server, der laut meiner Firewall immer wieder angefragt wurde = Google DNS) freischalte. Problem: In Kodi muss ich jetzt alles über die IP statt den Namen anbinden, da 8.8.8.8 natürlich nicht alle Adressen kennt.
