Philips Evnia Gaminig-Monitor mit Ambiglow und AmbiScape

vor kurzem habe ich als Erster über das neue Feature AmbiScape berichtet , welches Philips in seinen Ambilight-Fernseher als Nachfolger für die Ambilight+Hue-Funktion in Stellung bringt. Wie tweakers.net nun in Erfahrung gebracht hat, ist dies erst der Anfang.
Das AmbiScape-Feature wurde vor kurzem für die 2025er High-End Philips TV-Geräte mit Titan OS-Betriebssystem per Update nachgerüstet – nachdem Ambilight+Hue seit dem 2023er TV-Jahrgang nicht mehr als Funktion verfügbar war. Mit AmbiScape können smarte Leuchtmittel verschiedener Hersteller, die via Matter-Standard miteinander kommunizieren, angesprochen werden und die Farbe des Bildinhaltes auf diese Lampen übertragen.
tweakers.net hat nun noch mehr Informationen veröffentlicht, die aufhorchen lassen: So sollen die als “Philips” gelabelten Gaminig-Monitore der Linie Evnia auch das AmbiScape-Feature bekommen – Zeitpunkt jedoch unklar. Aus meiner Sicht eine sinnvolle Ergänzung zum Ambiglow, welches der Ambilight-Funktion bei den Monitoren entspricht. Somit kann auf eine externe Box (wie beispielsweise die Hue Sync Box ), die via HDMI zwischen Quelle und Monitor geschaltet wird, verzichtet werden.
Weiterhin wird berichtet, dass im März mit den neuen 2026er Modellen das AmbiScape-Feature in die 4K-LED (xxPUSxxx1), MiniLED (xxMLED001) und OLED-Geräte (xxOLEDxx1) Einzug erhält. tweakers.net berichtet hier von den Serien 8000 und höher. Ich gehe davon aus, dass hier die 4K-LED gemeint sind und die kommenden MiniLED und OLEDs mit Titan OS. Eigentlich auch ein vollkommen logischer Schluss: Die gesamte 2026er High-End-Plattform für Titan OS wird unterstützt (so wie es jetzt bereits bei 2025er Ambilight TVs mit Titan OS der Fall ist). Für Fernseher mit Ambilight und Android bin ich weiterhin skeptisch.
Ein weiterer interessanter Punkt ist, dass tweakers.net erwähnt, dass die Philips Smart TV App auch die Unterstützung für das AmbiScape-Feature erhält. Ich gehe davon aus, dass man hier mit der App (u.a.) dann die Position der Leuchtmittel leicht einstellen kann.
