das Jahr 2023 ist Geschichte und es ist Zeit ein wenig zu orakeln, was in 2024 kommt. Natürlich werde ich mich nicht zu 100% festnageln lassen, aber es gibt natürlich mir bekannte Hinweise, die mich zuversichtlich stimmen.
Jedoch erst noch ein kleiner Aufreger des Jahres: Es gibt seit über 12 Monaten keine Updates mehr auf den Philips-Webseiten. Echt eine Schande! Klar, Philips und TP Vision (die mit “Philips” gebrandete TV in vielen Regionen verkauft) sind zwei unterschiedliche Firmen und somit ist das wohl heutzutage nicht so leicht, aber das interessiert keinen Endanwender und wenn der Kunde auf die Webseiten geht und dort nur uraltes Zeug (wenn überhaupt) zum Download angeboten bekommt, zeugt das nicht gerade von “gutem Stil”. Über Changelogs kann man sich ja streiten, denn hier gibt es Pro- und Kontra-Agrumente. Aber wär doch mal an der Zeit, die Website 2024 in Angriff zu nehmen!
Zurück zu 2024. Was könnte uns erwarten:
offizielles Tam-Tam bzgl. Titan OS als Saphi-Nachfolger
cool wäre ja mal, wenn auf dieser Plattform auch irgendwann Disney Plus kommt – dieser Streaming-Dienst fehlt ja aktuell auf allen Saphi-TVs
es werden weiterhin Novatek-SoCs für diese TVs eingesetzt
der Mediatek SoC MT9687 wird bei bestimmten Google TVs (mit Android 12) eingesetzt
wahrscheinlich als Mid-Range/Mittelklasse
die OLEDs der 800er Serie wird es wieder in verschiedenen Ausführungen geben – für verschiedene Verkaufsregionen/Channels
möglicherweise in 2024 ohne 42-Zoll-Version
die MiniLEDs werden fortgeführt und möglicherweise gibt es ein 85-Zoll-Modell
das Flaggschiff der 900er OLEDs könnte wieder ein Nachfolger des 65OLED984 (2019) bzw. 65OLED986 (2021) werden
der wird dann bestimmt wieder Ambilight 4 haben
