zum Philips TV Launch-Event “TP Vision Live – Amsterdam Edition 2023” wurde auch eine neue Fernbedienung präsentiert, die massiv an Tasten spart. Erinnerungen an 2010 bzw. 2011 kommen dabei leicht auf. Tasten sind jedoch nicht verloren gegangen.
Bereits in den letzten Jahren gab es wieder Fernbedienungen bei den High-End Philips TVs, die Hintergrundbeleuchtung hatten. Anfangs nur, wenn man eine Taste drückte (sic) und letztes Jahr dann auch endlich mit Bewegungssensor, der die Beleuchtung automatisiert einschaltete. Bemängelt wurde hier von vielen Stellen (auch mir), dass alle Tasten eine Ebene bildeten und man haptisch so gut wie gar nicht eine Taste erfühlen konnte.
Diesem Feedback hat man sich nun angenommen und auf dem Launch-Event einen ersten Prototypen der neuen Fernbedienung gezeigt. Endlich sind die Tasten wieder als einzelne Tasten erfühlbar. Beim ersten Blick fällt jedoch auf, dass kein Nummernblock mehr vorhanden ist sowie die Multimedia-Tasten (Zurück, Pause, Play, Vorwärts) fehlen.
Hier bedient sich Philips nun einem Kniff und hat eine zusätzlich Taste (“123 ||>”) der Fernbedienung spendiert, die eine zweite Ebene auf der Fernbedienung aktiviert, die durch die Hintergrundbeleuchtung dargestellt wird:
Philips TV 2023: OLED908 Remote Control Weiterhin wird die Fernbedienung keine Batterien mehr benötigen, da ein Akku verbaut ist. Dieser wird per USB-C-Anschluss aufgeladen. Beim Prototyp war dieser Anschluss auf der Kopfseite verbaut.
Aktuell ist geplant, dass die neue Fernbedienung dem Flaggschiff-Modell OLED908 beigelegt wird. Da auf dem Launch-Event verschiedene Versionen gezeigt wurden (u.a. mit Alexa-Button statt Google Assistant) kann ich mir vorstellen, dass ggf. auch andere Modelle (bspw. Fachhändler-Versionen) die neue Fernbedienung erhalten. Vielleicht auch die kommenden MiniLED 9308 und 9008 , die das neue Smart TV System mit Alexa haben werden. Aber das sind reine Vermutungen.
Da ich davon ausgehe, dass die Fernbedienung mit einer Infrarot/Bluetooth-Kombination betrieben wird, kann ich mir gut vorstellen, dass sie auch in (älteren) TV-Serien eingesetzt und gekoppelt werden kann. Ich kann er nur hoffen, auch dass sie als Zubehör im Handel erscheint.
Zum Schluss möchte ich noch Mal auf die eingangs erwähnte Fernbedienung von 2011 zurückkommen. In den High-End Modellen der PFL9xx6 Serien war diese in schönem Alu. Die Tasten waren sehr gut ertastbar und man hat einen richtigen Druckpunkt und somit Feedback gehabt. Leider kam die Fernbedienung im Fachhandel schlecht an, da das reduzierte Tastendesign nicht “angekommen” ist. Aus meiner Sicht immer noch eine der besten Fernbedienungen (und das Gute ist, dass sie weiterhin auf aktuellen TVs funktioniert – Infrarot sei Dank).
