Viele Bildquellen verfügen nur über eine erheblich geringere Auflösung als 4K/Ultra HD. Das Perfect Sharpness Ultra Resolution Upscaling und der Detail Enhancer transformieren die Inhalte in schärfere Ultra HD-Bilder mit sichtbar besserer Detailwiedergabe und mehr Tiefe.
Um den bereits hervorragenden Kontrast des Panels weiter zu verbessern, verfügt die P5 Engine über das Perfect Contrast-System, das das jeweilige Bild in einer Vielzahl von verschiedenen Zonen analysiert. In Verbindung mit Philips Micro Dimming Perfect wird der Kontrastumfang mit weißerem Weiß und tieferem Schwarz nochmals erweitert. Dank des OLED-Displays mit Wide Color Gamut ist die Farbwiedergabe bereits erstklassig. Nochmals verbessert wird sie durch das Philips P5 Perfect Color-System, das einen 17-Bit-Color Booster sowie eine intelligente Farbverarbeitung für intensivere, lebendige Farben mit natürlichen Hauttönen bietet.
Bei Philips TVs ist das Thema Bewegungsschärfe traditionell sehr wichtig. Dank der Geschwindigkeit des OLED-Panels und der Rechenleistung der Perfect Natural Motion-Technologie mit 4 Milliarden Pixel werden in diesem Bereich neue Standards etabliert. Selbst schnellste Action in Ultra HD wird mit flüssigen Bewegungen und extremer Schärfe dargestellt.
